The different usage of the internet between two different companies


McDonald

McDonald is an American fast food company, founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald in San Bernardino, California, United States. Nowadays McDonald are one of the largest franchise in the United States as well as abroad. All together they have more than 32,000 restaurants serving in 117 countries. Their top menu items include hamburgers, cheeseburger, McNuggets and French fries.

McDonald use internet to communicate with the other branches whether it is within the country or throughout the world. They also use the internet to do promotion and update their loyal customers while attracting some new ones via social media:-




Sometimes they would be given feedback by the customer itself directly by the social media or survey that provided by McDonald.



PUMA

PUMA is a German multinational company that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories, headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. PUMA is the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. The company was founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler. In 1924, Rudolf and his brother Adolf Dassler had jointly formed the company Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory). The relationship between the two brothers deteriorated until the two agreed to split in 1948, forming two separate entities, Adidas and PUMA. Both companies are currently based in Herzogenaurach, Germany”

The different with McDonald is that PUMA have their own website to selling their products
